Automation and transparency at RLR Athletic

RLR Athletic is a small, early-stage brand that uses Shopify, a connected made-on-demand fulfillment partner, and selected automation to reduce repetitive work. Automation supports the operation; it does not replace accountability.
How orders are fulfilled
RLR Athletic does not hold physical inventory. Garments are produced to order by Printful, our connected print-on-demand fulfillment partner, after an order is placed. Typical production is 2–5 business days before shipping, and that is separate from carrier transit time. Blank garments are sourced by the manufacturer and the sourcing country is stated on each product page where the supplier provides it.
What is automated
- Order routing: eligible paid orders can be sent to the connected fulfillment partner for made-on-demand production.
- Inventory and availability: supplier-connected variants synchronize availability information with Shopify.
- Transactional communication: Shopify and fulfillment systems can send order, shipping, and tracking updates when the corresponding events occur.
- Store checks: automated reports can flag missing product data, failed media, catalog issues, funnel changes, and inconsistent claims for review.
- Drafting assistance: AI may help draft product, search, email, and support content. Public-facing claims are reviewed against current store data and policies.
What automation does not get to decide
- It does not invent reviews, customer photos, scarcity, product testing, or performance results.
- It does not publish products that are disconnected from a real supplier.
- It does not change legal policies, taxes, prices, refunds, or paid-marketing spend without owner review.
- It does not guarantee a cancellation after made-on-demand production has begun.
- Unusual customer-service cases are escalated instead of answered with invented information.
About product imagery
Product galleries currently use a combination of supplier mockup renders and AI-generated campaign imagery. None of it is photography of a physically produced RLR garment.
A mockup or rendered image shows how a design is applied to a blank. It is a visual representation, not proof that RLR Athletic has physically produced, worn, or tested the garment. Any person shown in lifestyle imagery is a model or a generated figure, not a verified RLR customer. Real sample photographs and testing observations will be labelled as such only after that work has actually happened.
About product claims
Every material, fit, measurement and care statement on a product page traces to the manufacturer's published specification for that blank. Where a claim could not be traced to a supplier document, it has been removed rather than reworded. RLR Athletic does not publish origin, certification, or performance claims it cannot evidence.
